Did you turn your clock forward last night?

Some people get bent out of shape about Daylight Savings Time. I don't really care one way or another. I just dutifully set my clocks forward (the truck is next) and don't think much about it. Do you have Daylight Savings Time where you live? Did you switch last night? I think the "switch time" varies around the world. But I am not sure. I am not even sure which countries have Daylight Savings Time and which do not I did hear on the radio yesterday that automobile accidents are about 60 per cent higher than usual on Mondays following the switch.Thatsoundshighto me, butI'll take them at their word. Anyway, did you switch last night? Do you have thoughts on DST in general?

Clocks?? You still have clocks?? I just let my phone and PC do that change for me and I rarely even notice the difference ...... it helps that I'm retired and have no schedules that would force me to be somewhere early in the mroning.

I don’t understand the whole point of switching the clocks back-and-forth twice a year. What do we stand to gain from this?

We'd have to research why it started in the first place. It may have had something to do with farming.

It brings up some sweet childhood memories for me. Walking home from school in Winter in the almost- dark. Playing 4-square or free elimination after dinner in Summer.

Yes, I switched our two wall clocks forward this morning when I was making breakfast. I wish they'd just pick one or the other and leave the time alone. We don't have many farmers who need an extra hour of daylight in the mornings anymore. Let them start their chores at dark-o-clock. *shrug*

I usually set my truck, microwave and stove early the night before. I like having extra daylight, but wish they would leave the time alone all year. I heard the percent is high for wrecks from loss of sleep.

It never worried me but we don't have it now which makes it all a bit less confusing. Our son in Melbourne has daylight saving and goes from 2 hours ahead of us to 3. I think Ireland goes from 7 hours to 8.

Time changes never bother me. It really bothers some people, but I don’t think much of it. The only clocks I have set themselves forward, so I didn’t have to adjust anything.

Yes I did, it doesn't bother me as much as it does my diabetes cause of when I have to take my meds & shots everyday.

Does the hour make a difference? I have set times for my pain medications, but I am not sure if an hour makes a difference.
