So about Trump's "excursion"

Wow. What a demonstration of his ignorance and the fact that the people around him won't correct him. He keeps calling the US attack on Iran an "excursion". The dictionary defines the term as "a short journey or trip, especially one engaged in as a leisure activity." Seriously? The US military is involved in a leisure activity? The first time I saw him call it that I immediately knew that he meant "incursion". The dictionary defines that term as "an invasion or attack, especially a sudden or brief one." Like it took me 0.5 seconds to understand that he was screwing up the words. I can only imagine that at least some of the sycophants around him did too. My question is if they bothered to try to tell him the correct word to use or if they did but he won't switch terms because he doesn't want to acknowledge that he was wrong. What an embarrassment to this country to have such a moron in charge.
