I can't believe Dale and I have been married 60 years today.
We've known each other exactly 61 years because we met on March 12 and married the next March 12.
We went out to eat last night and will enjoy remembering our wedding day and honeymoon tonight.
The kids sent gifts...Just didn't work out to get together this year. We had planned to go to a resort, but we were both sick. Soon, anyway.
We are so blessed. Several hard times through the years, but many more good ones. I pray God will bless us with a few more. Then we'll have eternity in heaven!

@1creekgirl my parents got one when they celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary a few years ago ….it was Queen Elizabeth then though.

We met in Hawaii where I was in high school and Dale was in the Navy. We dated a year and got married so young. He was 20 and I was 18. After he got out of the Navy, we moved to NC and raised our family.
