Do people still listen to the radio?

The majority of music I listen to is on the radio (in the car). However, in this day and age there are so many other ways to listen to music and talk shows. So, I was wondering, do you still listen to the radio at all? How do you consume the majority of your music and/or talk?

When I drive somewhere by myself, I turn the radio off but Pretty turns it back on when she's in the car with me. Normally, that's the only time I hear music.

Yes, almost every day, mostly to join the live recitation of the Holy Rosary from a religious station. Other times, we just listen to music. I also use Spotify or YouTube when I want to play music on my own.

If I'm at home, I listen to the radio all day long, even when I'm sleeping.

When I got my new car I programmed the public radio station and the oldies station on FM, and WSM out of Nashville and WLW out of Cincinnati on AM. Just in case. Generally, though, no, I do not listen to the over-the-air radio. I do listen to baseball games’ radio broadcasts when I’m driving, but that’s through the app and not over the air.

Yes I listen to the radio on my Alexa and of course I couldn't drive anywhere in the car without the radio on.

Only in the car, like you said. It comes in handy to pick up on any immediate traffic issues, the local weather and a bit of news. On Saturday mornings, I like having it on when I am going and coming from the grocery store because they have it hosted by Bryan Adams, which I am a fan of.

Same as you, we listen to the radio when we are in the car. At home it's through the computer.

If I listen to music it is through YouTube, and I put on my Favorites list and just let the songs play. Back in Latvia we had a radio going in the kitchen all the time; we never turned it off, so we were always in the know about things and listened to the music between. Do you know how funny it felt to walk out of that house for the last time and hear the radio still playing? I just could not shut it off,

We have the radio on in the car, practically all the time . At home I listen to the radio when I’m in the kitchen cooking. I have always been surrounded by music ….

I don’t really listen to the radio anymore since it’s kind of been replaced by apps. But sometimes when I ride in public vehicles or vans, they still have the radio on. When older songs play, it suddenly feels nostalgic and brings back memories of the past.

I am sure there are still who listens to a radio. Just like yesterday, while I was washing clothes I can hear our neighbor turning up the music in her radio. Here in our house whenever someone from us wants to listen to music it can be online, on music platforms, downloaded music on cellphones and tablets or laptops . Thats where we usually enjoy music now.

My dad still listens to the radio. About the talk and stories read by the DJs they are fine and interesting. One thing about the DJ here in Manila they are funny, they can be called DJ / Comedians, that is why I think many people are still listening to the radio.

We occasionally listen to the radio. Mostly it would be on the classical station.

Now that I don't have a car, I don't listen to music except for YouTube videos. J doesn't put the radio on when she drives me someplace.

I still do but finding a station which plays a listing of songs I like is challenging. I usually wind up popping a CD of song I made into the car player instead.

I still do, though I do it once or twice a week and I keep changing channels until I listen to something I like.
