Friend is coming down today with a toaster... This isn't something he ran out and bought, just something he had on hand sitting in a box. He is one of these has everything but the kitchen sink kind of people. The main reason he is coming though is to take me to drop my car off at the garage, For my appointment. I have to tell you though..this is something I am dreading..as I think it will take him a long time to work on it. I think tomorrow..Hopefully, I can find out while he orders parts and what not..so I won't have to be without it over the weekend.I have had too much of that this year. Is t is stressful.

I can understand the stressful aspects of not being without a car. He’s such a wonderful friend to have, despite what you’ve told me. Good luck with your car!

Oh, I know how stressful car repairs can be. And it often seems like now it's worse, the car places don't have enough help, parts don't arrive on time, etc. I hope yours is a quick fix! And I hope you have everything you need at home while the car is being repaired. Well, a free toaster is a good thing! One less thing to buy right now.

Yes, this is something very good. I made toast in the toaster oven twice yesterday, and it did not turn out even at all.

@snowy22315 I have never had a toaster oven. Several of my kids did, but I never wanted one.

@MarieCoyle I will use mine ever so often, but am not really satisfied with its performance.

I hope that you won't be without your car for very long. At least you're getting a new toaster Are you going to open that mystery box before friend gets there or are you going to let him see it unopened on the porch

Oh dear What is wrong with your car? Is this the yearly inspection

It is the annual inspection I told you about. The power steering leak will have to be fixed before it passes, and that has the potential to be expensive.

@snowy22315 Power steering, leak, ouch. I'm glad I don't have cars any more I never had a car with power steering, and they all had pull up lever hand brakes And a normal person could work on them without plugging it into a computer lol

That's really stressful. I don't have a car, but when our internet connection goes on and off until the repairman comes every two weeks after the first report, it really stresses us out. Imagine for a month we only have 3 days of internet connection, and it will go off, and we have to wait to the repairman for two weeks. From July to October, they gave us a headache until we decided to terminate our subscription... how much more of you waiting for your car to get fixed.

I know..I really hope so. And the cost isn't too high. It has a power steering leak and that could run into money.
