3/30/26 - Meals

Can you believe that today is the 31st of March? I hope April is better than March. For this week we are getting nice, warm temperatures for 2 or 3 days; and then a cold front comes through with thunderstorms; and the temperatures drop about 30 degrees.
J came over yesterday for about an hour and a half and finished everything that cousin #3 didn't get to and then some.
Breakfast - PB&J sandwich
Lunch - Meals on Wheels - Stuffed pepper, mashed potatoes, carrots, grapes
Dessert/Snack - Brownie
Dinner - Turkey/vegan cheese sandwich, sweet potato chips, cherries

77 today, 75 tomorrow. I wish the weather was cooler. I am not ready for this weather.

The end of March -- finally! But April showers have started a day early here. I was hoping to go to the Centre today but can't use my walker and hold an umbrella at the same time.

March flew by....that's for sure. Will be nice when the weather is nice for a couple months...if that happens.
Our weather is all over the place, one day in the 40s even I think...gross.

The UK has had a pretty miserable month, weather wise (and Trump wise), so I hope April is better.
I’m going out for lunch with some friends, so I’ll probably overindulge and regret it later. Pleasure followed by pain. That’s sums my life up.

We're supposed to be getting high winds today and tomorrow (25 mph) and then rain and storms the rest of the week. We'll also drop in temp about 30 degrees but upper 50s is fine with me.
I went to the older neighbor and paid him for mowing the yard and gave him extra for the next two times he mows. (I had to argue with him about a raise since gas prices are going up here. He kept saying he didn't ask for more money and I kept telling him he was getting more money anyway. I wrote the check for $90 instead of $75. He finally accepted it. 
)
I called and made the appointments for doctor exams for both of us in a couple of weeks. Nothing going on, it's just that time of year.
I ate leftover spaghetti and made more garlic toast to go with it.

@LindaOhio I’m about to make a lentil lasagna. Last night I just bought a chicken broccoli bake because I have a miserable cold and couldn’t face the kitchen - it had no taste. Might as well have eaten cardboard.

We decided to try the grilled chicken at Buffalo Wild Wings instead of the burger. It was awful! I didn't eat mine. I ended up making some bacon later at home.
