A View from my Window

Yes. I should take another photo, because it’s worse now. I can’t even see the buildings on the other side. The wind is blowing so hard, and the palms are bent over from the downpour.

@DianneN It's a lot of rain. We had torrential rains during a few days in a row the past month of November. Right now it's sunny and very warm.

Actually, that isn’t fog. It’s all rain and rain running down my window.

@LadyDuck It’s a nasty day again, but will be beautiful tomorrow. I used my indoor time to begin packing.

Does he want to buy ocean front property so he can try to find underwater treasures that might be around here???

@rebelann No, we’re fine where we are. There’s no salt spray from the ocean and lots of action on the water. The ocean runs into our water in a couple of inlets. Besides, hubs can’t scuba dive!

Exactly! Hubs jokes a lot about that.

@DianneN It's bright and sunny here. You could come visit for a few days. It is 73F right now. ...............But, I should warn you that the next three days are supposed to look just like your weather here, too.

@DaddyEvil We have 10 foot waves now and gusty winds with rain on the way. Right this minute it’s 77 degrees and sunny. Go figure.

Nor mine, and we are having a repeat again today!

@sallypup Algae blooms and storm runoff from canals have caused concern for pollution, but it is safe to walk or swim in it. However, it seems gross to me. I prefer the pool or ocean.

@DianneN I remember all the other couples in a competition were using really quite tired music And me and Yvonne mixed up a Waltz, a Tango, some Jive and a Quick Step and used " good feeling" We got disqualified for illegal lifts But everyone knew we were the best.

It’s raging out there. The rain on my window makes it look like fog as Eva said. The palms are bent over, but I’m sure it was much worse on Erie.

Tall building? My building is only 4 floors, just like my house in CT. We’re on the 3rd floor.

It certainly does and we’re having the same weather today. Tomorrow should be great. I certainly understand! Stuart is less than 100 miles from Miami and should have been warm. We vacationed in Fort Lauderdale and had an oceanfront room which led directly out to the beach. It was so cold and windy that we wound up playing ping pong in some sheltered courtyard for half of our vacation and didn’t set foot in the pool. Shortly afterwards, we vacationed in South Beach, but the topless women kept me from enjoying the beach. I hung out at the pool where they weren’t allowed - at least at our hotel.

Thanks! It’s another nasty day here, so I began packing. Tomorrow should be back to beautiful weather. I hope!

Thanks! It’s the intercoastal which runs from Maine, all around Florida, to Texas. The Atlantic Ocean is just across the way behind buildings that can’t be seen now from the downpour we had.

It was awful outdoors. Only a fool with a boat would be out in weather like that.
