A Massacre Thwarted

Pauls Valley is a city not far from me, and this week they made news. A 20 year old former student walked into one of their public schools Monday with a gun. The principal saw this, and attacked the suspect, getting into an altercation that got him shot in the leg. Other staff in the area came to his aid and held down the gunman until police arrived. Thankfully, the principal’s wound was not life threatening. His name (the principal) is Kirk Moore, and I wanted to share because I think his name deserves to be heard.

I am glad the principal is okay. They just tried the kid who did the stabbing. They are punishing him as an adult. Three counts of attmepted murder.

@AmbiePam Me too. If you are going to make adult choices, you should get adult punishments.

Good for Kirk. That could have turned out really bad. I hope it doesn't traumatise him too much although it's bound to have made an impression.

And Kirk Moore is a short, stout man. He had the courage of ten men that day.
