It's hard for me to stay in mylot for as long as I can these days. It's been stressful at work with a few incompetent staff. New hires arrived two days ago and been observing how they're doing. One of them might not stay long. She doesn't seem to be at par with our demands. Anyway, I wish I could stay here long enough to absorb some positivity. Will go through all your discussions when I can anyways.

Do affirmations help with your positive outlook? They do me sometimes.

Better to get rid of incompetent staff, in the long run they always cause problems.

@LadyDuck Or she is not just intellectually capable of doing so even if the will is there.

@toniganzon If she does not improve, it's because she is not willing to do her job better.

give her a chance. i mean, i didn't see her but i think a week is enough to see how she's doing, even a month. nothing comes instantly and we were all newcomers. as a teacher substitute, i've been a newcomer for too many times and it's been stressful; having a job and a medical insurance, then suddenly not. all in all, stay well and try not letting stress get to you.

Sorry to hear about that, Toni. How are you doing, today? That’s work for you—stressful and overwhelming. Make sure you rest and observe me-time whenever you can. Remember, health is wealth. Although wealth is health depending on context. Lol.

Thanks for the reminder. I have always known that anyway. But it's easy to say and hard to do.

@toniganzon, I strongly concur. What we say sometimes don't tally with what we do. But we can control BOTH (what we say & what we do), obviously not every time. Your case is an exception. Do you watch movies, TV series, play video games, or . . .?

I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with some of your workers. They better not be responsible for taking you away from Mylot, or some of us will revolt!

More new hires arriving today again. My sister gets stressed a lot with our staff. I ease up the stress a bit by dealing with them.

Right. It's hard to find those who are really competent and it's also hard to find trustworthy and loyal ones.
