A pleasant evening surprise.

As I was giving Kitty her evening snack, I spied this rainbow to the East. The sun was about to set in the West, so the contrast between the rainbow and the sky was quite striking. I did slightly "enhance" this photo with my editing program, But the contrast between the rainbow and the horizon was among the most striking I have ever seen.

It really was quite vivid. What I did was slightly darken the background around the edges of the photo.

You were lucky to get such a nice shot of a rainbow! Even if you did enhance it a bit, there had to be beautiful colors to enhance.
