I gave Roscoe a sweet potato

The photo above is of Roscoe after he's done snacking on his sweet tater and digging deeper into that hole. His 'beard' catches anything damp so I can tell if he's been into something, not a pretty sight if ya ask me Currently he has at least 3 holes in progress, perhaps he's trying to journey to the middle of the earth All that dust he causes to fly about is probably what saves him from getting ticks, who knows, but so far I have not found a tick on him. The smaller GSD loves to bark, sometimes I think she's more like a poodle than a GSD with all the yapping she does and I think she loves it.

Roscoe sure has a lot of fur. My pups almost bite me when I show them a piece of cooked yam or sweet potato. It's dessert to them.

I don't cook it, I just let him have it raw and he's learned to be gentle when I give him food.

That is such a great photo of Roscoe. He certainly loved his sweet potato, obviously You’re so lucky he doesn’t get ticks. They are nasty! I received a great video from my granddaughter, but it’s on TikTok.

I've seen half his body disappear in one of those holes as he's digging, his body without the legs is about 30 inches long, I'm not sure what he is from tip of the nose to tip of the tail, that boy won't stand still for me to get a measurement.

He used to dig into the yard where those German Shepherds are cuz he wanted to play but hopefully he's gotten to old to care about that now, he's 5 yrs.

I love how much Roscoe loves his tater! Isn’t it funny what foods dogs tend to enjoy? My dog, Sherlock, was a huge sweet potato fan as well.

I used to think it was weird until I saw my first dog, Rebel, eat a cantalope I was growing in hopes of enjoying it myself .... at least it wasn't wasted but I didn't try growing them again.

You are right, he is probably at least 72 or more pounds by now, I think he might need to lose a pound or two but I like that he is no longer so darn skinny.
