Jensen??? Or Brian???

I correspond online with a friend in England. Over a few years we’ve shared bits and pieces of our lives and we both enjoy our mutual chats.
I told her about our latest house-sitting effort and sent her a photo of Jensen. When she replied, her first comment, before she read the email, had been going to be ‘how did I get the photo’? It seems they have a lurcher, Brian, which is very, very similar to Jensen the greyhound, at least in photos.
My friend sent me two photos of their lurcher and I’ve put one of them in the collage along with one of Jensen. They’re quite alike, aren’t they?

Quite a bit. You know they say everyone has a doppelganger, maybe dogs do too.

@JudyEv Maybe... I'd need to see them both standing up to be sure, though.

They are built alike. I have never heard of a "lurcher" so I will look it up.

I think lurchers were very popular with English poachers back in the day. I don't think they are a breed so much as a type.

They really look like one and the same dog.

At first, I thought they were the same dog just different lighting and poses. They certainly do look very much alike

You can understand why my cyber friend thought I'd found a photo of her dog.

Similar, but not identical. Before these discussions, I really didn't know greyhounds came in that color.

I guess so... if you are to ask me I think the only difference is the lightning in the camera that makes the other looks dark.
