New kitchenware for the chef

The photo shows a set of kitchenware that we purchased while we were house-sitting. We went into a big shopping mall just to see what stores were there. They seemed to have at least two of every sort of shop.
We spotted a store selling kitchen items and at the front door were boxes such as the one in the photo. The notice said 85% off. Notices like this always catch my eye and I pointed it out to Vince. He is about ready for some new pots and pans. These are non-stick and just what we need. They were about $200 instead of $1,100. We checked the price elsewhere when we got home and the original price is correct.
The saleslady said the sets had been marked down because the company had changed the design of the handles and wanted to get rid of the old stock. So their loss, if any, was our gain.
Vince says his cooking will improve now, not that I think it needs too. I'm sorry it isn't a better photo.

That looks like a really nice set of pots & pans. Certainly a bargain and glad you got to take advantage of the markdown price.
Can't wait to hear what Vince creates with his new set of pots & pans.

@JudyEv we need new frying pans/skillets and I was telling my daughter about your new set and the bargain you got it for. She was very impressed.

It sounds as if they must be good quality cookware. The image on the box looks nice.

I was thinking maybe they upped the price before putting them up so cheaply but we went online and found them in several other stores and the price seemed genuine.

Thanks. I've donated a couple of pots as we don't need extra really.

We need some new cookware too. But I hardly use them. My mother usually uses them.

He cooks beautifully anyway but he seems to think this new cookware will result in some even more fabulous meals.

I hope so too. We have to remember not to use the spray oil on them. Apparently there are chemicals in that which don't agree with the non-stick surface.

Thanks. We like the non-stick finish so these are ideal for what we want.
