Someone said they liked the smell of gasoline, and that reminded me of liking the smell too when I was a young. I have no idea why. Nowadays, I prefer things like lavender or rose, and fresh laundry too. Do you have any favorite smells? I don’t really mean perfume, but that’s okay to mention as well.

I like the smell of the beach, honeysuckle, popcorn and more, but my favorite was the smell of my mama. I have a wardrobe that still has her scent.

Can't stand the smell of gasoline. I love lavender but they must be essential oils. Not synthetic scents coz I'm allergic to synthetic scents. I love the smell of ripe mangoes.

I’m with you on the lavender; it has to be essential oils.

I love the smell of roses, rosemary, and garlic being cooked. Don’t laugh, but I love the smell of my husband’s breath. He has never had morning or stinky breath in all the years we’ve been married.

So many smells I like - bread baking, newly mown grass, the first rains of the season. I'm afraid the smell of gasoline doesn't do it for me.

My Dad loved to work on cars, but he didn't do that for a living. He was very good at it, though. A lot of people sought him out to help them pinpoint problems, etc. when they couldn't figure it out. Honestly, I've said it before but that man could listen to your car and tell you what was wrong with it. When he tinkered and my parents were still together, I did my share of ''helping'' him. Then he would pick me up with hands smelling of gasoline. I really, really like to smell gasoline--not very safe, probably, and I don't go around sniffing it intentionally, but it brings it all back.

Yeah, some people get a little too attached to that smell, and I’m sure you know what I mean. That’s such a cool memory to have. I understand the appeal.

@AmbiePam I often associate other smells with people. My paternal grandmother and her sister, it was Yardley's English Lavendar. My other grandmother it was always lilac. For everyday, Aunt always used L'air Du Temps and I loved that smell. My other aunt was always cooking and she smelled like cookies and vanilla!

There are too many to list. I bought some hand cream at an Ollie's Discount store. It is by the company called "Safely" and the blend is called "calm". I am not sure what the scents are, but it does make me feel calm.

You reminded me of the time when my small sister drunk gasoline. She said that it smelled good. For me, it stinks. I like the smell of jasmine, hyacinth, lavender and roses.

The smell of gasoline is so addicting. I'm one of those kids who like to smell it. I like the smell of pandan and vanilla. Sometimes I like cinnamon but sometimes I don't.
