Relaxing on my Balcony

Hello everyone! It’s a beautiful and sunny day today with 17 C temperature. I am on my balcony relaxing, enjoying sunbathing. I hope the weather will always be pleasant. I baked a moist chocolate cake the night before last for my sons‘ birthday yesterday. He didn’t like to celebrate it. He just went shopping in the outlet store in the Netherlands. He came to us after that with his girlfriend and then we ate his cake. It was already 6 pm and so the cake was our dinner. 1 slice of that cake made me full already. I gave them the rest of the cake but they left 2 slices for me and my hubby. We have just eaten them with lemon and ginger tea. It seems we will just have light meal this evening. Do you know that it is a National Tea Day in England? Do you prefer tea or coffee with your cake? Anyway, have a nice day or evening fellow mylotters. Thanks for dropping by.

Relaxing on your balcony sounds great. Happy Birthday to your son. I'm sure he appreciated the cake you made for him. It certainly sounds descendent and delicious. I would enjoy coffee with my cake. Happy National Tea Day!

Yes, it was great @Marilynda1225. Thank you very much. He is not fond of eating cake but this moist chocolate cake is what I always make every year for his birthday. He loves it. Enjoy my cake with coffee too but it depends with who are there with me. My hubby and my son‘s girlfriend don’t drink coffee.

Thank you @DianneN. Me, too. I would have drunk coffee if it was not late. I have a hard time sleeping if I drink coffee after 6 in the evening. Besides, 2 persons in my family don’t drink coffee.
