As Fate Would Have It……

We have just enough dinners to last us until Wednesday. We made certain of it before leaving on Thursday for our flight back to Connecticut.
Yesterday, friends invited us to a goodbye dinner which is tonight. I hemmed and hawed, but so what. We’re going and so thankful to have such wonderful friends in our building.
We were planning on soup tonight, but we can have it for lunch with a bagel.
We are so blessed to have such thoughtful people living in our building.

Yes he is @DianneN I pray you will see him when you get back home.
I suppose some quiet time to get things packed and ready to go could be relaxing.
I also realize you may not have time for the cyberworld so I will wish you a safe trip home and loads of fun when you get there.

@LeaPea2417 Another thing they copied were reflectors. 
. Hubs puts them around our driveway so they won’t dig up the Belgian blocks that are cemented in. He also had to put in 2 or 3 on our lawn, because a UPS driver missed the curve of the road and drove over a part of our new lawn and broke an irrigation pipe. So, guess who decorated her entire yard with reflectors that weren’t even on her driveway or near the road? 
One day I felt mean and mentioned why we use them. The next day she removed most of hers. Just 2 or 3 left for decoration

That just shows how much you touch people's lives, just like you do here on myLot.

Thank you! It’s my one and only photo of him. Never saw him again.
We were so surprised by how many people showed up to say their goodbyes! We were both overwhelmed.
We already gave our food to our friend Sandi and to the couple who take care of our place. All that’s left in the fridge and freezer is what we’re going to eat by Wednesday night.

Thank you. Unfortunately, once I took his photo, I haven’t seen one since.
As much as we adore being with our family as much as possible, we love our friends, too. I feel badly for those that don’t seem to have any. Keep cherishing yours as I’m sure you will.
