Most of us bathe daily morning or evening, some both. It's for comfort, hygiene, that sort of thing. But unless we are dirty and/or sweaty we really only need to bathe a few times a week. The action of bathing removes healthy oil and bacteria from our skin which can leave our skin dry and itchy allowing bad bacteria to enter through cracks in dry skin. When we expose our bodies to normal durt and bacteria we are actually strengthening our immune systems. (We do still need to wash our hand frequently).

I like to go to bed clean, so I shower before hitting the sack. Besides,I am not a morning person. I get up before I have to,in order to drink my coffee but I just want to shower every night before bed.

I know that. I subscribe to the Saturday night bath, whether I need it or not philosophy.

I bathe more in the summer than the winter. Also according to if I am staying home or going to be around others.

Yep
Washing and bathing too often is not good.
Going for a swim is just as good as washing
If I don't do any physical work I don't bathe that day except to stand under shower for 2 minutes

i usually take a shower during mornings and evenings, despite of what ive been doing in between. i just cant stand the feeling of being 'dirty' even though ive been doing nothing. it also helps that i treat showers as my personal time - and i could think more when im inside the bathroom lol

That's a good time to give to yourself.

I shower about three times a week. More if I have engaged in sweaty behaviors. My hair kind of pushes the shower routine. I like to shower early in the evening so that my hair has dried before I get in bed.

I think that a good pattern. Early in the evening to help one relax.

I understand the science behind it, but I shower every day regardless. I do suffer a bit of eczema, but I couldn’t change my hygiene habits to see whether the showering was the cause.

In the heat of summer I so agree. In the winter sometimes I just sponge off or use my wipes.

Yes, I knew that. I usually shower and wash my hair every two to three days, depending on whether I can see and how stable my footing is at the time.

I do as much as possible wash my hair once a week but each time I use the bathroom I wash my hands,

I used to bathe every day; but I don't any longer. Showering is almost a 2-hour ordeal for me now. I don't know how long I will be able to continue without assistance.
