Eleven years since…

First, thank you for reading this. People tend to get tired of reading tributes after so many years, so I appreciate the fact that you are reading about my mom’s 11th heavenly anniversary. I choose to think of her remembrance as a celebration whereas it used to simply make me sad. She was such a great lady! Some people want to be like famous people or rich people, but I wanted to be like my mom. She had genius IQ, but never talked down to people, was generous, but never let herself get taken advantage of, and had compassion, but expected people to take responsibility for their actions. Her health had been poor since the day she was born, but she never complained. She lived for the Lord, and she lived for her family. I’m so glad I was able to call her my mom.

From this post to many others where you referred to her, it is clear that she was an amazing person, and not unlike her, you possess many of her finest qualities.

She sounds like an amazing lady. Someone I probably would have liked. It's hard when you lose someone you love and who was so special.

Through this, it mad me miss my father. Wherever your mom right now, she's proud of the person you become. And she's happy how you remember her.

I know it seems like the longest time to you to be missing her, but it also seems like just yesterday. I am sorry for your loss but grateful you were blessed by such a great Mom.

My mom went out with the last century... a week shy of her 81st birthday.

Such a beautiful tribute to your Mom. I know you loved her very much. Everyone wants to be remembered in a wonderful way by those who cared about them, and your mother definitely is. May her memory always be a blessing to you and your family.
