First, thank you for reading this. People tend to get tired of reading tributes after so many years, so I appreciate the fact that you are reading about my mom’s 11th heavenly anniversary. I choose to think of her remembrance as a celebration whereas it used to simply make me sad.
She was such a great lady! Some people want to be like famous people or rich people, but I wanted to be like my mom. She had genius IQ, but never talked down to people, was generous, but never let herself get taken advantage of, and had compassion, but expected people to take responsibility for their actions. Her health had been poor since the day she was born, but she never complained.
She lived for the Lord, and she lived for her family. I’m so glad I was able to call her my mom.

Oh, what a lovely post. So heart felt and warm.
Obviously I never met your amazing Mom but I can tell what a wonderful lady she was. You speak of her so fondly. You were lucky to have her for a Mother, as she was to have you as a Daughter.

I know it seems like the longest time to you to be missing her, but it also seems like just yesterday. I am sorry for your loss but grateful you were blessed by such a great Mom.

My mom went out with the last century... a week shy of her 81st birthday.
