I know, I know, when I tell you that braised pork steak was for dinner last night, even though I have been gone from here a couple of months, everyone will be highly shocked. What? Pork steak? You'd never! But that was what was for dinner last night. Braised pork steak, a Knorr side and a tossed salad with lettuce, hard boiled egg, tomatoes, mushrooms, cucumbers, green onions, cheese, bacon bits and Ranch dressing. GOOD EATS! So, what went on your dinner table last night? Do tell.

You're right, that does sound delicious! I still have most of the last pork loin in the freezer. I just wish Pretty would eat that with me.

Gosh, pork loin is delicious too. Indeed. I like the marinated ones from Hatfield or Smithfield, and when they go on sale plain I'll cut them into chops and roasts. Good eats!

@porwest I love the Hatfield marinated pork loins too. My favorite is the brown sugar one

@porwest I buy the plain pork loin so I can season it the way I like. It is really good but way too much meat for just me. I cut it into thirds and froze two sections of it. We bought New York Strip steaks in a family pack a few days ago. I'm thinking about thawing two of them and cooking those for dinner tomorrow night.

I had a similar meal at IKEA last Sunday with my boyfie.

I have never eaten at an IKEA. That being said, I am hardly ever in one. But I have heard they have pretty good food.

I used to eat a lot of Ramen when I was younger. I can't eat it now due to all the salt. But that used to be good eats.

I do love chicken as well. So versatile and always has loads of flavor even lightly seasoned.

My mouth is watering… I want some, except no pork for me. But I’d take a steak instead of the pork.

No you won't. This is about Pork Steak and you already know you would eat it. If nobody was ever going to find out, you would eat it and have a very warm feeling.. Enjoy

@Ineeddentures Nope. My mom tried to get me to eat seafood more than once and I never caved. Maybe at some point in a distant future I’ll go back to eating seafood and pork, but for the time being ain’t gonna happen.

That would never do it for me. Of course, I don't eat fruit at all. But I won't knock it either.

Eventually I always do tend to find my way back from a long absence. Your dinner sounds right up my alley.

Last night we had Caesar salad with grilled chicken. Your dinner sounds good and I love adding all sorts of stuff to my salads. With the summer coming we'll be eating more salads.

Salads always go over well. We eat a lot of them year-round around here. Can't go wrong with grilled chicken either.

I worked a late shift yesterday, so I took my dinner break at work and ended up splitting a pepperoni pizza with one of my co-workers.

Stir-fry here, with whatever was in the fridge plus a few greens from the garden.

Hey, sometimes those are the best. A lot of "whatever is in the fridge" around here also become casseroles and soups.

I'm not sure why pork steak would shock people. We often have it. Pork is relatively cheap here.

The tossed salad sounds yummy. Lunch is usually my last meal of the day.

I typically don't eat breakfast. So for me it's lunch and dinner, with dinner being my most important meal of the day.
