Yard Day

We will do the mowing this afternoon. My part of it shouldn't take very long today. And it's wonderfully warm out so I won't mind being outside.
I have most of the garden stuff done now. All that's left is planting my sunflower seeds and transplanting my loofa sponge gourds when they are big enough.

It is 81F so far today at 11:32 am... Our high is supposed to reach 85F by this afternoon. We have a 70% chance of thunderstorms today. We still have flood advisories here.

We have the heat and the rain, too. I don't think anyone will be mowing today anywhere around here.
I need to look into the loofa sponge gourd thing. A friend grew them for a long time, but she moved away.

I just hope it doesn't get too hot in here. I would not think of doing any yard work today. It is supposed to be 97 and the sun is already bright. One thing in my favor thous is all the greenery around hee. It has to get through a lot of it to make things hot..so it should help quite a bit today.
