It was not cranberry juice

I went to Trader Joe’s last week to buy their cranberry juice. It’s 100% juice. No water, no sugar, nothing but cranberry juice. It’s tart and delicious. If I had to choose what cranberry juice to buy I would always buy theirs.
I poured myself a glass today. I was looking forward to having it with an almond croissant from Lidl. I took a big gulp and it seemed to taste weird. Instead of being tart it was sweet and it didn’t seem to taste like it was cranberries.
I looked at the label on the jar and it turned out to be cherry juice. And it was from concentrate. I have never gotten this juice before and I’m never going to get it again. Not only because it’s from concentrate but because I don’t like the taste. I’m not a fan of cherry juice in general actually.
When I was grabbing the jar from the store shelf I thought I was grabbing cranberry juice. I even remember checking the label to make sure it’s cranberry juice. And here we are. I have no idea how it happened that I ended up with cherry juice. Since I already have it, I’m gonna try to finish it. But I know I’m not going to enjoy it.

I know the one brand, Ocean Spray, makes 100% juice, but it's cranberry and cherry together. You might check Amazon, there are a lot of different juice brands there.

@MarieCoyle interesting. I’ve never seen those. Next time I am at the supermarket I will check it out and see if they have it.

That reminds me, I went in to Dollar Tree to get some mailing envelopes recently and wondered around a bit. They had the glass bottles of the Martinelli’s Apple juice that you talked about. Clear glass jars, $1.25

I've done that in a store grabbing hair conditioner instead of hair shampoo. They are next to each other and very similar and I grabbed the wrong one by mistake.

What happens sometimes is people will pick up an item and not put it back in its place. And then you’re looking at the right thing, but you are grabbing the wrong thing because somebody put it there.

Cranberry juice is good at preventing UTIs I believe? I don’t know if that has put me off, but I never drink it. I prefer orange or pineapple juice at breakfast time.
