A Ribeye for an Eye!

Holy Cow, like no literally HOLY COW, steaks are very expensive nowadays. I remember about a year ago I would be able to order a 12oz Ribeye from Outback Steakhouse for about 15-18 bucks. Last night my smaller 8oz Ribeye was a whopping 32 bucks. Thank god I didn't go for the 12oz or I would have to leave a limb at the table to pay for it lol.
Anybody else notice the price of meats going up?

I sure have! I just got a pound of hamburger for 5.69 which was high, last year it would have been 3.99.

Our ground beef is mostly over $7 a pound unless I get lucky. And then it’s still not cheap. It’s supposedly going to climb a lot higher. Ugh.

Mine would be the worst time if I start eating meat. My whole family and even past generations were purely vegetarian. It all depends on our habit.

We haven’t had steak in half of forever. It’s just not feasible to even think of buying it. I’m glad that you enjoyed it.

That is a huge jump in price.
We pay alot more per pound, as we buy our beef by the hind quarter, than we did a year ago.
But buying a quarter of a beef is the best way that I can escape the price hikes every other week as a quarter lasts us for almost a year.

@BACONSTRIPSXXX - It's sad, because you are left with a very little choice of restaurants.

Oh yes, meat is really expensive and honestly, everything else is getting pricey too! It feels like all prices are going up except salaries, lol. That steak looks so good though, really mouth-watering!
