I could be doing housework / myLot

I could be doing housework, or yard work, or even cooking, but I am not. This morning I decided I would go to the thrift shops, and the Dollar General, as I had intended yesterday and was frustrated by forgetting my wallet. I bought a few things, just as I had intended to. When I got home, Bob was awake and enjoying the outside. Yesterday I had offered to take him to the library in Marion, so we got back in the car, and went back to Marion. We got home and he started one of his new books, while I made us a delicious salad. After lunch, and after putting my treasures away, I began reading the book I had from Newton Library. I would LOVE to finish it today and return it in the drop box tomorrow. Bob fell asleep reading, and I needed just a minute or two of a break. So here I am. I could be doing housework. . . but it will still be here Monday.

I should be in cooking something for our late lunch but I cut up a cantaloupe and ask Pretty if she was hungry yet. She said she wasn't, so I'm playing on myLot for a little while, too. I laid down hamburger to thaw for dinner tonight and am planning on making some pasta with the hamburger. But I ate a slice of the cantaloupe so I'm not hungry now, either. I'm glad you got the things you needed done today. I hope it's not storming there. We have a light show and pouring rain here.

Sometimes, the caregiver needs care, too. It's OK to take breaks when you can. I could be doing some work here around home right now, too. But I just don't want to. As you said, it will still be there on Monday.

Sometimes we can take a break from any household chores. Same with me, I just woke up not on time since it's day off and when I supposed to do my laundry I am here on mylot.
