Considering Making The Big Move!

So recently I was offered a Job promotion for roughly around 130k a year but the only thing is that the job is 700 miles down south in North Carolina. I always wanted to move down south for better weather and a way less expensive cost of living compared to Connecticut. I'm about 75% sure that this would be a good move and overall give my entire family a better quality of life but there's still many factors I'm considering.
I will miss being just an hour from New York City but that will no longer hold me back.
I applied this morning to the position and if they ask to interview me then il be taking a few days off to head down south.
My sister moved to North Carolina last year and she has been loving it, your money goes a long way down there.

It would probably be a big change but you are young enough to enjoy it.

Just now
It sounds like you just need the job to be offered to you.
Congratulations, that would be a huge decision to consider.
I remember my husband had the opportunity to relocate when our son was 16 or 17, but he got so upset at the thought of not being able to finish his high school years at the same school, and when I looked at the housing costs, he decided not to accept the position.
But that doesn't apply to you, so good luck!

That's a big decision but it's hard to pass up an opportunity like that. Hope it all works out for you.

What a fantastic opportunity. I hope you will take it & your family will love it too. I think the winters down there won't be as harsh?
