Well, hopefully on the unused stuff you can fetch a prettier penny. Onward and upward. For dinner I took my dad for a Father's Day dinner at a place in Cape Girardeau, MO, called Broussard's. I had fried catfish filets with red beans and rice and a Ceasar salad with some blooming onion petals on the side. Very good eats.

I think that's true of a lot of us: we buy things we never use. NOT Pizza Hut. I had a chicken taco salad at Chuy's for lunch, fake sorbet, yogurt, a fiber bar, and grilled cheese for dinner.

I do too; but in a small scale. You would not believe how much stuff I have to send to the auction in its original packaging.

Changed my menu. Made a hunk of canned corned beef, chunk potatoes, seasoned cabbage and stewed tomatoes in my slow cooker and it was delicious and plenty more for tomorrow.

@LindaOHio It would have been better with real corned beef but that gets expensive.

It’s good to declutter, but I bet it’s bittersweet getting rid of his stuff.

Pork? I absolutely love it, especially suckling pig. In Bali, you can easily find restaurants selling suckling pig. When visiting Bali, you must try suckling pig.

From vegan pizza to Pizza Hut! Did you notice any difference between the two? Liked the beef tacos so much that I had it again last night.

I'm glad that she is helping you with this project which is sounding huge. It is great that you got pizza yesterday, I know how you love it. I did my running around yesterday morning, and we met Jonathon, Klaudia and the girls at a restaurant not far from their place for lunch. Ron and I split a barbeque chicken pizza, and brought some home, they all ordered individual meals. Willow had a pizza from the children's menu. It was alot of fun. Ron and I went for a really nice drive out in the country after we ate. We stopped at the reservation for gas it was .40/L cheaper than in town, and then we went crop touring to see the progress of the new crops. I miss that about living in the city. For supper neither one of us was really hungry because we had such a big lunch, so I made tuna melts on mini naans. He had another slice of the banana bread that I baked on Friday.

When we moved here, I gave away plenty of things that my husband bought and never used. Many of the magazines and books he bought were still sealed, not even opened the package.
