Hi everyone, this is my newest great grandson (I have 4) Oliver and his dad my grandson Alex. He loves the beach!!
Today I am at my brother's house in Vermont visiting. We are having a Ticket to Rude marathon!! It has been rainy all week.
Nothing much exciting going on. I am heading out with Kasey and her youngest on a cruise July 11th. Maine and Canada on Holland America. My first time in a Suite. we have a cabin facing out the back of the ship. Comes with great amenities. Usually I just get an interior cabin but since this is her first cruise I wanted it to be memorable.
I don't do much really, just the same old same old. Had Mother's Day at my son Jason's. We get Chinese. Which reminds me, lol this year we had a Jewish Christmas, ordered Chinese instead of Prime rib. Two of my granddaughters in law are half Jewish , our one in Florida named it the Jewish Christmas. Most stress free holiday I think I've ever had. We exchanged gifts on Christmas Eve and played games and on Christmas Day it was just relaxed with Chinese. No hours spent in the kitchen with prep and clean up. I think it may be the new tradition!! lol
I really do miss everyone and I will try to catch up as much as I can. I finally stopped my Zoloft and now I can actually cry which may or may not be a good thing.
TIL later...

So happy to see you pop in to say hi and how amazing that you have a new little one to add to your family. Congratulations!
Your cruise sounds wonderful and I'm sure being in a suite will be extra special. Hope you continue to pop in here and there. It's always nice hearing how you're doing and the family.

Congratulations on the new family member.
We do need to be able to grieve so crying can be a good thing.

I have always been stoic so crying makes me feel weak which is why I have fought it but I am realizing I just need to let myself feel the pain to get over the grief.

@BelleStarr Yes you do. I met an older woman years back who kept apologizing for crying while I was ringing up her purchase. When she told me the family put her on antidepressants after her husband passed I understood. She had not been able to grieve his loss then. She had stopped taking the pills and was finally doing that. We do need to do that

Yes I am lucky, I only have one granddaughter who lives in Arizona, everyone else is within a half hour drive.

Actually we are Catholic but the Chinese food is a Christmas tradition for some Jewish families in the US.

I have been blessed in so many ways. I certainly have wonderful grandchildren and the greats are adorable. The oldest great will be 16 soon, he is just a year older than my youngest grandchild.

I have never seen it online. We played three or four games every day. We play the USA board but I own a lot of other different versions.

I take Bonine everyday on a cruise, it prevents seasickness.

I have been on my lot for many years. Since my husband passed away I don't post very often but I try to stay connected.
