I Took a Helluva Fall

If you were aware from an earlier post, the front left tire on my riding mower blew, and I finally replaced it yesterday. Turned out to be about a 20-minute project, which was nice. I honestly thought I'd run into a hiccup, but everything went smoothly.
Got the grass cut and then decided to hook up the hose to the deck wash system and cleaned that. I also wanted to clean off the wheels a bit as they were full of wet grass. We'd had some rain earlier.
Pulled the mower into the garage, got one foot off and my foot slid right out from under me since the garage floor becomes quite slippery when wet, and my brain simply disengaged.
Up in the air I went and slammed into the ground with all my weight, which was great on an already effed up back.
It took me a couple of minutes to get up and this morning when I got up, I was of course sore. It is what it is. I should've known better. I know that garage floor becomes like a hockey rink when it's sweaty or wet.

Poor thing. Of course, you won't know better next time: we never do.

Ouch, I am really sorry and I know how this is painful because it happened to me. I was in the corridor when it happened, rain leaked from the window and the floor was wet, Up in the air, slammed on my back but also badly hit my head on the floor. It's painful for several days. Take care.

Oh my! I'm glad you didn't hit your head. We just had that garage floor coating done - not the epoxy - but the polyurea. Expensive but worth it. The garage looks GREAT and it's not slippery anymore.
