I apologize for my long absence with only occasionally popping into Mylot. I’m not sure when I will get back here more regularly.
Having a heart attack has been life altering. I am recovered from it physically. I do have occasional weird sensations and once in a while concerning ones, but nothing really painful.
No one prepares you for the psychological aspects that follow afterwards.
I simply am not completely who I was before. I am hopeful that I will feel completely my old self again in time.
I miss you all and am grateful that I am connected with some of you outside of here.
I just wanted to let everyone know why I have not been active here and hoping that you are all well.

We have been missing you and are glad you are okay. Medical emergencies can really alter our routines and even our mindsets. We will look for you around and also know that you are doing the things you must do.

I guess it would take some time to get back to normal. I know when my grandfather had one he completely altered his diet after that. The good thing was he lived another 35 years!

Having a life-altering medical event can change you. I'm not the same I was since my husband's stroke, even though he's mostly recovered.

So sorry to hear this, but the most important thing is that you are getting yourself back again, and glad to see you again.
