Eye Drops

Yes, I do. I use Restasis Medicated Eye Drops for dry eyes. My eye doctor tried to prescribe Soothe and Systane but Medicaid wouldn't pay for those so he prescribed Restasis and Medicaid pays for them. I use the drops twice a day when I wake up and before I go to bed. When I complained about my eyes hurting during the daytime, the doctor told me to get regular dry eye drops from Walmart and use them anytime I needed them otherwise. Pretty bought Equate brand dry eye drops. They also help. Uhm... The Restasis eye drops come in little tubes that are resealable and I'm supposed to throw them away after each use but there is enough meds still in one tube that I can use the same tube a couple of days before opening a new tube...

I had to use eye drops for a short term period a number of years ago. I was on a medication which caused it.

I have dry eye too. I have drops ….but I’m a naughty girl and don’t use them as often as I should ! I have been buying them but I guess now that I am 60 and get free prescriptions I should ask the Dr about them.

I use Visine cool relief when I need eye drops.

No..I don't use eyedrops. I used to use them as a kid but that was a long time ago. Hope they work for you

I used to when they thought I had Glaucoma. I also used them when wearing contacts. My eyes were always dry. Turned out I had Sjorgrens Syndrome, and dry eye is a symptom.

I use Systane too, and it helps reduce irritation over time, with my vision improving slightly after applying it. I’m not sure what you mean by more energy—eye drops won’t give your eyes more energy, but they can soothe them when they’re irritated due to lack of lubrication. Spending too much time on a laptop or phone is often the main reason eyes become dry and irritated. The drops simply lubricate and soothe your eyes, but they won’t energize them; if your eyes are really tired, only proper rest will help, as no eye drops can relieve that fatigue.

Rohto. That's the brand of eye drops that I like from Japan. It relieves eye strain, dryness, and redness. it's very relaxing and cool to the yees. But I don't use it often. There was just a period in my life when my work was 12 hours and it had to be in front of the computer.

I use them sparingly in the spring. Prescription drops for allergies.

I don't use eye drops. My mother does because she wears contacts. I have used hers once when my eyes hurt and it made it worse. The reason was that I had a eyelash that grown backwards.

I don't have any problems. Never visited any opthalmologist.

i did it maybe once or twice and before my eye meeting but i read that many use them when they are tired and while working. i'm sensitive, my eyes are so not sure how will i feel. i feel you that you don't trust your ophthalmologist.

I don't use them, but I have started using a nasal spray. I get a bit stuffy and it helps.

Yes I do, all the time because of dry eye and glaucoma. My ophthalmologist gives me a prescription for those I need.

I don't use eye drops so I guess I'm lucky I don't need them. I really didn't know that some eye drops had preservatives.

I have dry eye too but only use drops when they weep incessantly. It's a real misnomer in my opinion. The condition should be called 'wet eye'.
