Does ANYbody approve of this?

There was a lady who was with a bunch of her friends at a house rented out for a weekend bachelorette party. The lady opened a bathroom closet, and saw a wedding dress. Another lady told her she should try it on, so she did (it fit perfectly). She then posted the picture and story on TikTok (I am not on there). Most people told her it was disrespectful, but she disagrees. She says the closet was not locked, and the kitchen utensils are okay to use so anything not hidden should be fine to use.
I think it’s really rude to try on someone else’s wedding dress. No one expects a weekend renter to try on their clothes, especially a wedding dress. What do you think? Has anyone here rented out their home on Airbnb…?

Yes it was disrespectful. In the airbnb I have rented, there are always house rules. Curfew if there is one. What to use and what not to use.
If the house owner didn't want anybody to touch her personal belongings, especially the clothes, then she have locked the closet or left a note. Just to be sure that nobody is going to touch it.
Never rented out my house even if it's empty. I'm not comfortable with strangers staying in my place. Not unless I purchased it with the intention of putting it up for a lease.

The dress was in a closet with the door closed. She should have respected the owner's right to privacy.
