Do you like trying new foods ?

When I was shopping yesturday I visited the deli counter at the supermarket.
I was looking for something to make a sandwich with for todays lunch,
I like to go to the deli counter as they have fresh produce there, it can be cut to the thickness you want and you can buy as little or much as you want.
I don’t go a bundle on the prepacked stuff.
Anyway, I saw something that looked rather nice.
It is described as ‘ Continental ham ‘
I had a couple of slices to try it.
I have just made my sandwich , and yes, it’s very tasty….a bit of a smoked taste …..which I really like.
I will definitely be having it again.

@LadyDuck. I tried lentil crisps a few months ago …im not keen, they didn’t taste of anything much.

@traceyjayne @ladyduck I cooked radiatore pasta last night with a piquant beefy, tomatoey sauce and I loved it. Radiatore is now my favourite type of pasta. I love the shape of it.

@Traceyjayne No, this is a little different. It’s from Dunkin Donuts. It’s more like a bagel omelette. I’ve made egg muffins before; this bagel thing is different.

Yes, I enjoy trying new foods, although I usually prefer buying a small quantity first just in case I don't like it! ?? That continental ham sounds delicious, especially with the smoky flavour. I love experimenting with different sandwich fillings too. Sometimes I'll see something unfamiliar while shopping and decide to give it a try just because it looks interesting. That's often how we end up finding new favourites.

As long as somebody can guarantee that no caterpillars are included in the new food, yes, I'm willing to try it. I just won't eat bugs.

@Traceyjayne You're just upset because they wouldn't stay still long enough for you to dredge them through eggs and flour before you put them in the oven.

I have a somewhat adventurous side when it comes to trying something new. But it depends on what it is and if it falls into the category of basically stuff I like I'll try it.
