Another No-Show?

Well, the landlady didn't come by to do the house inspection yesterday even though I sat in the living room with the front door open and just the glass storm door closed. My brother brought more groceries and the pharmacy delivered my Methimazole between 11 am and 1 pm, during the time the landlady said she'd be here. (The landlady's "personal assistant" told me she'd come by and "tapped" on the storm door but nobody answered.) I was sitting in the living room like I always do if the inside door is open. Pretty said to ignore what the PA said and told me to invite her back today, so I did... Today, instead of leaving the inside door open and me sitting in the living room, we left the door closed. I'm in my bedroom and Pretty is working in her bedroom. It is 1:45 pm and still nobody has arrived. I've been watching animal videos on YouTube and just went into the kitchen and made myself an ice cream cone. (Vanilla ice cream. ) Definitely fun times today! And the PA showed up right as I posted this discussion to myLot! So that's done for another year. What's going on at your house?

I'm glad she finally made it so you don't have to be on "alert" for her!! An ice cream cone sounds like the perfect treat on a hot afternoon. Yum!

Thanks. It did get really hot again this afternoon. When Pretty closed the door behind the PA, Pretty said, "OMG! A wave of heat rolled into the house before I got the door closed!" And Pretty is the one who loves heat!

@DaddyEvil right now I’m just moving back in with my mother. We’re trying to get a co-op that she wants for me. We’re still in the process of that and there is no guarantee that we’ll be able to get it.

@lovebuglena Oh, I see. I thought I'd missed a discussion you'd written about finding a new place... If your mom has the room and you don't mind living with her, then I'd suggest you stay with her. You help her pay her bills anyway, even if you're using her money to do that. If she needs help now, then she'll need your help as she gets older, too. Even though Pretty and I can get mad at each other, I'm glad she's still here. She helps me when I can't see and pays our bills from money she earns helping me around the house.

The Christmas is already up! While my dad is sining We are the champion... he beat my mom this year, he setup the Crhistmas Tree this Spetember, last year my mom won for hindering him to set up the Christmas tree early. Lol!
