The Final Bill

Well, I went to the dentist and she went over the bill. It’s going to be huge, but about 1/3 of what the other dentist was going to charge. That’s partly because she said if I don’t mind, I can do fine without the bridge. I told her I’m fine without it as I want the lowest bill possible. So, it’s not great, but it’s far from traumatic. Of course, my poor dad is the one paying it. He didn’t indicate it bothered him whatsoever, which is a sign of a great dad. No guilt trip at all (since I couldn’t help it anyway (stupid mouth) ). How was your morning?

I also need to go to see my dentist. My old bridge is coming down. I think I am going to stay without the bridge.

You might as well if it isn’t going to affect your bite terribly.

@AmbiePam - This is what I think and it's in the back, no one will notice that it's missing.

I don’t mind crooked teeth. What happened to me is because I grind my teeth. To ignore it would cause more problems. Ignoring a problem just doesn’t always work.

That is kind of your father to not complain. I am glad you are able to do without the bridge.

The dentist is always very expensive. I have to pay for mine out of pocket on my credit card. You are blessed to have a great dad. I have a wonderful bonus Dad.

I was told not to get bridges because the gums will pull away from them and you'll get stuff stuck between the gum and the bridge which will make it rub you raw. I'm glad it won't cost as much as the first dentist quoted you.

It's really sad when the cost of dental needs is too much and the result is having to settle for less than. I'm sorry you have to go without the bridge but I certainly understand your reasons.

It was nicer today since they were clouds in the sky to cool off the extreme heat of the weekend.

It was okay. Besides the arguing with Visible all morning and the other issues. But hopefully it’ll get better.

Well that is nice to have him help, I am sure...and good that it is about 1/3 what the other one was going to charge.

Just now
I'm so glad it was less instead of more, what a miracle that is in this day and age! Yay!
