Hallucinations and another hospital visit. I'm back home again. I didn't have fun. *sigh* At least I stayed local this time. I walked the two and a half blocks home after I was released from the hospital. I don't mean to complain but I'm ready for all of this to be over and done with.

Even if that's not true, I really appreciate you saying it, anyway.

I need to back track and see what I missed. What is causing the hallucinations?

Sorry about that. The untreated hydrocephalus is causing the hallucinations, apparently. I'm supposed to go in for the shunt surgery before the New Year.

@DaddyEvil It seems another surgery is still on the horizon. Hopefully it can be completed soon, and wishing for a speedy return to good health.

Thank you. Hopefully when I go to the hospital next, it will be for the surgery to fix the problems. Then the only visits I'll need will be when the neurologist checks to make sure the implant is still working well.

Yes, I'm home now. And yes, as long as there are walls and furniture to hold onto or my cane, I can walk by myself.

@DaddyEvil That's great to know. You be careful walking by yourself. You might trip, bump into something or fall. Is the bank frozen?!?

I was fine coming home. Pretty was surprised I rang the doorbell but she didn't know I was on my way so the door was still locked. I'm glad I got home before she left for her doctor appointment or I would have had to get the spare key out of the garage to get inside. We haven't been in the garage other than to put her ebike in there this year. Who knows how many spiders and snakes are in there now. Thank you. Everything is always fine. I need to stop complaining.

I’m so sorry this is still going on with you. I’m genuinely surprised that they let you walk home after being in the ER for hallucinations. (Or did you tell them that you had no choice and it was either that or they had to admit you?)

I was admitted to the hospital and the only choice they had was to release me or I'd leave without their permission. All they could threaten me with was the hospital bill. I laughed and told them they'd have better luck getting blood out of a turnip since I get $40 a month allowance and no other "income" right now.

Man times have changed. I get hospitals busy and I get they get a lot of homeless people and to me that is one thing. You can do all kinds of things for a homeless person but they going to want to be dropped off in a homeless spot. You contributed to a society, have a lovely daughter, a home dude if I worked at there.I would say we do not have the resources but hang on I will call my personal friend to make sure you get home safe. What is the point of anything if you just going to repair someone and then send on their way hoping they do not get more wounds.

I'm sorry to hear this. Are you waiting on tests or treatment of some sort? Wishing you the very best. Reading through the comments I guess nothing is being done till the operation. I hope they hurry with it.

The most important thing right now is that you are home and okay, and I think walking back home was a good move; it will definitely help your health, especially your muscles. And I hope it all ends soon.

Sorry you went through that again, glad you're back home though. Walking home on your own two feet after a hospital stay says a lot about how strong you are. Hope you get some real rest now and things start getting easier soon.
