Eggs

It’s that time again! The time where I get a few groceries, and Walmart sends me a little extra. This time, it’s eggs. A dozen. Unfortunately, I don’t eat a lot of eggs and I’m going on vacation this week so I’ll probably give them away so someone can get use of them. And before anyone asks, because they always do, I have told the store before when they leave me something extra and they say keep it because once it’s out of their possession, they can’t take it back. How best do you like your eggs?

That’s sweet of them. I like the egg whites because I have an egg yolk allergy.

So does that mean when you get a vaccine you have to face the kind made without eggs?

At least you do not have to bring back. I like eggs in many ways, omelette and scrambled are my favorite.

I am sure somebody will appreciate having extra eggs. I like omelets, but will eat them just about any way.

Eggs are great instant protein. I'm eating simpler these days so I might boil an egg to go with my rice and vegies. Or stir an egg into leftover rice.

Free eggs are never a bad thing, even if you can't use them all. Giving them away before your trip is a nice move too. I'm a scrambled with a little cheese person myself, cant go wrong with that.

When I do get eggs I usually hard boil some and use the rest in egg soup. I also give some to Roscoe.

Check the expiration date on them, they should be good for 3 or 4 weeks. Otherwise, maybe someone else would appreciate them.

Eggs are good for about 4-5 weeks. They will be fine until you return for your trip.
