The Final Countdown (I hated that song)

Chilled Papaya and Passion Fruit Soup is what I had as an appetizer followed by Teriyaki Salmon, and Baked Alaska as dessert.
It was a wonderful last night, with sunshine all day and a thankful feeling at dinner. We’re all glad we went although my dad said with him retiring in December this will be his last cruise. Which doesn’t bother him as he always traveled because Diana liked it. He just has fun wherever he goes, so why not make good memories with your wife?
Tomorrow we disembark at 7am, then my dad and stepmom and I go to the airport where we wait all day for the flight that gets us back to Dallas by 5:30pm. Then we drive back home. It will be a long day!

I know you had a really good time. So glad you were all able to go on this trip together and make memories.
Check the airport lost and found...maybe his CPAP showed up there? We can hope! I know that long, long travel days can be exhausting. Take care of yourself. Hopefully, you can possibly rest on the plane.

Yes, the last day early in the morning is very chaotic getting off the ship and getting to the airport and sitting and waiting. I’m so glad you had an opportunity to take this trip with your family

I will go to the Veteran's Home tomorrow. I have not seen much of Bob this week except at appointments. It sounds like you had a great time.

Tough choice there on the menu..I would be tempted to go for beef tartare but I had that at the wedding..The soup looks great..but I think I would go for the shrimp cocktail. Haven't had that for awhile..That ship must be going at a pretty good clip. Football Sunday tomorrow.

I know it's a no-no for you but I love shrimp cocktail. Baked Alaska would be wonderful too. I might have had two serves of that and skipped the entree!
