When things go astray

How would you feel if things do not work out in your favor for quite a long time. Will you blame the Gods for your misfortune/or worser still will you contemplate death? After all Why on earth do we find that only a chosen few get the required recognition and achieve their goals ? Does God favor only a sect of the humanity?

Will never blame God for my misfortune, because failure discerned me to be smarter. Matter of fact in my life I beholden to my own genuine two (2) life philosophy; 1. Hoping the best while expecting the worst, & 2. Little bit little do, once missed got to redo. Running our life to grasp the level of succession will hurts, but negotiating for getting the VALUE in every scope of our vision, mission and objective is a real satisfaction. Every negative element in our mind, body and blood need to be changed to a productive positive elements, if we want to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Matter of fact, with the right system of human logic and feasibility, you can run your great genuine achievement in your life. Better ending with a great person than none. Make your own marvelous life in e-business world, the world needs you. That is why you still here. How to make it?. Learn from my video, the link; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T3-lEwMvWCY

Dear Mr. Sukumar, I am a boy to you I have said in my comment that I also thought you. But now changed, God changed my thought but with a human, he here so I have to say I learnt to think a better way. This gentle man my best friend michaeldadona(Dr. Michael Dadona) helps all the steps of my thinking. Now I have no misfortune no bad luck even not a good luck he taught me how build up a "CALCULATIVE LUCK". As your little friend suggesting to follow him if you can.

I don't think God has anything to do with it. There is a very small proportion of the population who live to achieve... while the rest of us are simply concern about surviving. Those who live to achieve become rich as they devote their whole life to it and never stop working. 80 hours a week for them is a normal week. They mix business with pleasure. So you might see them having a meal in a chic restaurant or having a laugh at a lavish party. But they are only there to talk about business and close another deal.

Karma is quite a weird and wonderful thing. I aspire to blame nothing/nobody (not always easy), because blame can only make my situation worse. As a Zen practitioner, I practice zazen (Zen meditation) which consists of following the breathing to the exclusion of all other thoughts. This brings a different state of consciousness where I [sometimes] see myself co-ordinating the inner and outer worlds. When this occurs I can begin to see that I am responsible for what is going on in my life, and that I "created" the events that are occurring. As a therapist, I know most people don't grasp this at all as it is not reasonable - but Zen never is. I see that we are much more than our circumstances, as if that were not so, people would not have pulled themselves out of dire conditions that their peers claimed to be unable to do. My philosophy of life is that if I can stop blaming others or God for what happens in my life and accept that I am responsible for where I am at right now, I can transform my experiences, as I cannot move on if I paralyse myself by electing others as cause of any misfortunes I may experience. I see my misfortunes, as being lessons from which I need to learn something. Some of the lessons I can understand, others I can't. :-) Derek

What more lessons do I have to learn from this life of mine at the close (right now I am 59 years of age).Experiences have turned for the worse and nothing seems to take a welcome stride at this juncture....hence I'm sad, depressed and gloomy.

I do not think that God favors one over the other as to why things go right for one and wrong for the other one. I think God only gives us what we can handle and some just cannot handle. What if what we want is not what God has for our plan so do we turn in the towel and just give up. NO we persevere and continue on.

sukumar, I have had a lot of things to over come in my 50 years of life. The biggest one is my parents. I have a dad that is mean and would rather beat me then look at me even thou I am 50 years old he still does not think I have not lived my life to his standards. Mind you I have never be arrested, never gotten in trouble, I have been married to the same man for 31 years, we have two great children who are law abiding. I also am an RN and have never asked anyone for anything. I have made my way in this world. But not good enough for him then there is mom who is just as bad in a different way. She thinks I am her slave and I owe where anything she wants because she had me. So I have to deal with theses people on a daily basis, not an easy feat. I know life is hard but you can do it. I will be here my friend if you need help. I am a good listener. Have a good day

I don't blame God when things go wrong. God is a good parent, He doesn't step in and keep us from harm every day, He lets us learn our lessons in order to live a better life. If I fail at something or a bad thing happens, I turn to Him for comfort but I don't expect Him to make my life effortless--a parent who does that hates his child.

Just remember that nothing ever stays the same! Trust in God, abide by his rules--basically, don't do to others what you don't want done to you--and you'll eventually come out ahead. I know it's very wearing to experience misfortune constantly, I've been there and am so glad it's over. Please don't be discouraged, keep on working through it and the bad times will be over eventually. There are always rainbows after the storm, my friend.

'God' (or 'the Gods') have very little to do with our bad luck or 'disfavour'. The most important thing of all is our own attitude to life and whether we love ourselves. It is often said that "God helps those who help themselves". This means simply that, if we ourselves make an effort to improve our lives, provided that we align ourselves with the universal principles of 'goodness' or 'the Way of God' (or in whatever way you care to understand the being of God or 'goodness principle'), then we shall receive encouragement and strength from being part of the flow. I sometimes like to think of the 'purpose of life' as being like a river in which we swim and of which we are a part but which has many rocks and obstacles in it. If we make up our minds to get to the mouth of the river (because that is where what we perceive as 'God' is), then we look ahead and in the right direction and we find that the current carries us and helps us and that we only need to make minor adjustments to avoid the rocks and negotiate the rapids. If, on the other hand, we are guided by selfish and wrong ideas, we find ourselves constantly struggling against the current and frequently dashed against rocks and log jams that we didn't see.

It never occures to people to blame themselves for what happens..They always want to blame GOD....which is very sad to me....God does not favor people,we are all Gods children & he is not a respecter of persons...Sometimes we must look in the mirror and take a good look at ourselves..There are two spirits in the world one is GOD and the other is the DEVIL,blame the DEVIL he is the one who wishes to harm you,Not GOD....If you are feeling so desperate ,Why not Ask God to help you see your way through this.....instead of blaming him...I always either blame myself for my failures or i blame to Devil, because i know GOD and he knows ME and he loves me & has always helped me out of bad situations.......Look UP!!!!

God created all naked alike. Look at babies, they all behave the same until they start to learn things. It is what and how they are exposed to the environment that shapes their belief and perception in life. In short, it is we ourselves who created our own path and lead the way of life we are now. If we are doing well, people say God favour us. If we are not doing well, we say God favour others. How irony people's mind are. LOL.

Hi sukumur, nice to see you back here again. You have been missing in action for such a long time. Through this post I can read that you are not in high spirit and full of regrets and sadness. I hope I am wrong. If things doesn't work your way, do not think God has a hand in it. He will not want his children to suffer. One way to find solace for your mental agony or frustration is to understand the degree of your own sufferings and difficulties with that experienced by others. You think that everything around you is about to collapse. However, if you try to take a mental stock of things and try to count your blessings, you will find, surprisingly, that you are better off than many others who suffer more. Pain and discouragement are indeed hard to bear. It is like climbing a mountain hoping to see the sun shining at the top, only to find the sun shut out by a still higher mountain. Just when you had hopes of seeing a little light you were plunged into more darkness! You may get the feeling that you are living in a world and at a time which is not kind. A great fear may clutch your heart and you may think for a moment that this is not God's world. Faith in God is never more wonderful than in your hour of trail. God love everyone of his creation.

Hi sukumar, I would never blame the Gods or anyone else, we are all responsible for our actions, the way things work out for us, and most importantly, the way we take it. Some people can be happy living in a tent with just one meal a day, and others unhappy in a mansion with everything they could ask for. It's not always what happens to us but the way we take it. God, for any who believes in such a being, would have enough to do without making trouble for you and me. Blessings.

I have several past experiences of things not working out the way I want things to happen. Of course, I feel frustrated and sometimes cry. But as I look back and analyze events and circumstances in my life, I ended up thanking God for those "misfortunes" because they happen to be blessings in disguise. Later in life we realize that "misfortunes" happen to spare us from an even worse. Even if I am optimistic, I am open to possibilities of unfavorable things as well so that I won't get hurt too much. My plan in life may not be His plan for me because there is a lot better things in stored for me. After every misfortune, it is important that we move on in life and strive harder. Appreciate what you have because if you try to count blessings versus misfortunes, you will be surprised that you are such a blessed person. May God bless you more in your life.

I would assume it is something that I did, that I took a wrong turn, got the wrong advice, and thus I have to suffer the consequences. And when they finally work out, I would think but for the foolish mistake I made or the advice I took, I would have gotten what I wanted sooner. God does grant favors on HIS own but sometimes they do not happen in this life. And sometimes those who hate God seem to get things their own way while here on earth. Life sometimes is not fair.

hello, sukumar. it is nice to run into you, again. i thought that you are among my friends who are no longer mylotting. anyway, i have been back only a month ago after having been away for two years something. if things do not work out in my favor, i will just simply keep on trying my best to live life decently. keep on with the fight until the bad days are over. i can say this with immovable confidence because, i have been through this type of experience many times over in my life. the experiences were not that ordinary. they were very excruciating ones. my faith in the Lord has helped me through greatly. besides, i have witnessed as a child, how my mother was so strong in fighting her life's battles then. those more than two years that i have been away doing mylot, i was forced by circumstances to find no time for this community. the time in my hands is even insufficient to cope with the difficulties at hand. i was going through then. one of the most difficult times of my life - i have to fight it and win. the battle is not over yet, it is still going on in fact. only, it has eased out greatly at the moment.

it happens that soemtimes luck doesn't favour much, but that doesn't mean that we should just blame luck and stop tryign and let the things go wrong all the time, we should try our best to get what we want whether it is material things or personal values...if we ar ewell determined evn god will give his blessings to us...karma counts most i think...so be positive and work...result will be yours.

Then I have change my thinking, my working system.Once Me also Thought as you but that is gone. God never select a misfortune- Actually, Now I believe in a calculative luck, God never select a misfortune for me thee rewards me as my works, If I work in a wrong way how I will get my reward? Help yourself- God said-"Help yourself I will help you". I am helping myself with my hard word why God will not help me? This way God never love human but works. Actually I don't know What about your problem. You are senior member here But if you don't mind it I will say you findout yourself and help yourself.
