Will you still post on mylot if there are no money cashout and rewards?

Hello, I know that most of you came here first to mylot as a way to earn some more money. This is the same with me, because I have seemed to notice that I have an uncanny ability to be able to post alot of posts in a short period of time, and they are also more often than not quite long, and longer than what other people post. But will you still post here on mylot if there are no money cashout and rewards? You first came here as a place to earn money. What do you think of mylot now? I am still pretty new here, so I don't know much about it, so I would like an insight to an experienced member's view on mylot. Thanks, Nameless_

I might..occasionally. Definitely not as much as I do now, though, obviously. While it can be fun, the main reason I'm here is to make a little extra money.

Hmm... I have read most of your comments, and I have seem to have seen that many of you would still post less than you are now if it wasn't for the financial awards... :) I suppose that is right though... But at the end of the day, it still seems like mylot has only become so active because of the paypal cashouts. To be honest, I will still post here at mylot, but not as often, as what most people have said. It is still very good community and a good place to learn new things. :)

i would probably continue provided myLot would still exist... lolz... it seems most people would leave... i'm yet to get any payout from myLot and minimum payout amount is yet far away for me... i come here as i really enjoy myLotting... i meet new people and learn new things... so, i would certainly continue myLotting... but, frankly speaking, i would certainly be more irregular... presently, still there is one bonus (for me,ie, the possible payout) ahead, that brings me here and make me participate in whatever topic i feel comfortable to respond on... if there wouldn't be any money, i would probably be more choosy in my participation... happy myLotting...

i have to be honest to say that i probably wouldnt be here on mylot if i couldnt earn money on it. i really like mylot and have been here for over two years and have earned a bit of cash. i do like the disucssions on here especially under the topic of frugal living and crafts.

I think I would still post here from time to time if there was no money involved. I would not be here as often though, so the earnings is a huge motivation to post.

I don't know, maybe not, maybe yes I am here because of the extra cash on the first place which turned out to love the site because it is very interesting and informational. I meet few friends that I can talk to, aside from PM here. So, maybe if mylot will stop paying, I will leave them and get another forum or discussion that pays too

I definitely would. I started out doing this for extra money, but I think it's pretty fun just to talk to different people and hear different views about the many subjects on here. Obviously I haven't been doing this for that long, so I haven't even made that much money yet. But I'm gonna keep it up, keep on enjoying myself, and see what happens!

I spent several years posting on Yahoo! Answers and a few other places until somebody introduced me to MyLot. Of course, the fact that one does get paid was an incentive and is still but what really made it attractive to me was the rather better quality of the discussions (sadly, not always as true now as it was three years ago) and the format. Like Yahoo! Answers, the 'question' heads the page and responses are posted sequentially below it. What Answers lacks, however, is the ability to post comments to a particular response - in other words, it is just what it says: a 'question and answer' site rather than MyLot's 'discussion' format. I think that, from my experience on both sites, I have to say that it is exciting to see the numbers increase. The fact that here it is real dollars and on Answers it's points and levels seems to not make a great deal of difference to me, psychologically. Yes, it's a bonus to see real money in my PayPal account for what I do here but, even if it were 'points' or some other system (such as occasional prizes or a lottery), I think I would still be as active and enjoy doing it just as much.

Really, wow!!! No wonder you would post such long and quality high posts... well, what gave you the incentive to post at yahoo answers when there is no "financial reward"? I mean, it is so hard to find someone like you on the internet. Everyone here is money crazed...

No, I hardly post now. The pay is just too low here, I have more fun and earn more at Gather.com

hey, that sounds nice, and it seems like you get more pay at gather.com too... I have checked it out, but I couldn't see any discussions or anything like that... but thank you so much for your comment... I very much appreciate that. I will check out the site and see if it is worth joining. :)

While it's enjoyable and I don't do it primarily for the money, it's still nice to have the money incentive. It's not that you can make much money here but if they took it away entirely, I think the usage would drastically drop. People would find some other site to spend time on that does pay, no matter how little. A little is always better than nothing. MyLot is good for what it is, a social networking site and discussion board where people can discuss just about anything they want and make a couple bucks too.

Hi nameless... I have been a mylot member for more than two months. The truth is that I started here for the purpose of earning extra money. But later on I realized that it is not about earning. I haven't been paid yet for those months since I haven't able to reach the minimum payout yet. But I keep on mylotting coz I enjoy my time here conversing with the others. Though I won't get paid it is still okay because I enjoyed it here.

Hmm... I suppose, but then, you can always learn from everything and anything, can't you? Mylot's a way to learn stuff as well.. I like it. :) Still have a long way to reach payout though.

Indeed... I learn a lot here specially about health information and a lot of tips from those who experience something that could be very reliable for solicitation of advices. This really is a helpful site.

That's a good questions... If there are no rewards again for our postings/activities here in mylot, maybe it gonna make me lazier and maybe i am not that often here anymore but maybe sometimes, i just stopping by And read other discussions when i feel the need to read it... But, im glad cause mylot still can be trusted until now, i think...

Honestly I'm not sure I would. I just like the idea now that we gain while sharing our ideas but the website itself is a bit dull. All you can do is just post and discuss. I don't quite get the quizzes. If they can transform this more as a flickr or facebook site with games then I wouldn't probably leave when they stop paying. I just hope it's not soon as I still haven't received my first minimum payout amount.

It occurs to me, Oygak, that if you are (as you apparently indicate) here to make money from MyLot, you will do a great deal better if you post (as it says at the side) responses which are "as descriptive as possible" ... that is to say, responses that consist of more than just one word! MyLot is about quality in our participation and that is what they pay for. You have actually denied your argument (if there was one) because you have taken the trouble to post something for which you definitely will not be paid!

Haha, I agree with owlings... If your answers a no, then that means that you are here to earn money. If you are here to earn money, then you should posit higher quality posts to earn the most!!! :) Nameless_

I get to know mylot in the purpose of making extra money. I started not long ago and haven't receive any money yet. I like mylot. and I enjoy discussing with different people on different things, while if without any earningd from mylot, I may be not as interested as now in the discussions.Anyway, it takes time to post, I will be just log in mylot whenever I have idle time , not every day, surely I will focus on other websites for online making.

Yeah... I suppose that is what most people are here for. I mean, mylot is really nothing except for discussions, and it is nothing compared to other stuff like Facebook and myspace. So if it wasn't for the money that they give out, I really doubt that it will be as popular as it is now. :) Nameless_

Hard to say for sure. There are times where I am sure I would want to come and see who is still around especially those of my close friends, but I would probably do other things more for sure as there are times it is hard to decide what time to spend where for sure. But this has always been a thought on a lot of people's minds in here from time to time for sure. But I have been a member here for over 3 yrs. and it is still going strong, so hopefully it will be around for quite a long time still as well.

Probably occasionally but not on a regular basis like I do now. I might stop by occasionally and see how people are doing and answer and ineresting discussion. But in all honesty I am on line to make money and I like making money here. I enjoy answering and starting discussions but I make no bones about it I do it for the money.

I would probably use mylot like others use facebook or myspace. I do not have a account with either of these and do not care too. My e-mail and other jobs keep me busy enough. I probably would not comment as much, but would start as many discussions as I have because I like to views and opinions I get on mylot.
