I do hate other people driving my car as they tend to move everything about,so that when i go and drive my own car i have to move all the wing mirrors, screen mirror the seat as well as my sweets.

I know exactly how you feel. There is an 18 inch difference in my husband and I. When I drive his truck, I have to move everything in order to even see over the steering wheel. I do try to put them back at least close to where he has them though...at least let the seat down completely!

I take my car in to my usual mechanic annually for its 'check up'. When I get it back the seat is pushed way back and I never check so I am introuble immediately out in traffic. And the radio is always on some AM station. Oddly enough the mamoth mechanic doesn't change the position of the inner or outer mirrors.

I hate to let anyone drive my vehicle also. They move things around and they do not take care of it like I do anyway. I hate to have to fix things back to the way they used to be also.

You need to get one of those cars that memorizes who you are. I've set my mirrors, seat and other personal perks so when I get in the car it adjusts to my specs. Besides, if I borrow somebody's car its like I was never there.

I do not mind when someone else drives my car as I let them. It maybe my husband or my son that drive my car. When anyone of us gets out we hit the exit button and the seat goes all the way back. I have two memory buttons for seat adjustment one for me and one for my husband we set the memory to where we want it and then also can adjust the outside mirror. My son either just adjust things for himself or use his dad.

I do not have a car yet seeing as how I am underage so cannot get a liscense but I very clearly understand how you must feel, I get that feeling as well when I go into my room and see that almost all my stuff has been moved around. I automaticlly know it is my mothers doing and I just get so mad so I must say these are two simillar experiences.

Oh I can tell you a funny story about someone else driving my car. My teenage daughter sneaked out late one night and took off in my car. Later I discovered the seat, mirror, radio were all wrong and a lot of gas and mileage was used. She denied "borrowing" the car but I knew better.

I have never allowed anyone else to drive my car because of insurance. If they have an accident then I will be in trouble for allowing them to drive the car, and the cost of repairs would come back to me. All my friends understand this and we never ask to drive each other's cars. That is the way it has always been. - Derek

i don't have a car. so i don't have such an issue. i don't like people messing around with my kitchen. moving my kitchen tea towels around. or draping it such that i get wet when i move near the sink. especially if that person is my mother in law. :)

i asked my other half to move my car earlier,he only had to move it a few feet,so why did he move my seat back when his legs are the same length as mine,,i do hate letting him in my car

My husband is about 5'10 and I am about 5'4. So when he drives my car he always has to put the seat back. That is okay with me as long as he puts it back to where I have it. I go to get in the car and I feel like I am sitting in the backseat. I get so angry when he does this. One day I just came back in the house and made him go out there and put the seat back where I had it at before he drove it....LOL...

The only other person that I let drive my car than myself is my husband and for he and I to take turns driving the car is not an issue at all because we are both roughly the same height so we don't have to adjust the mirrors or the seat for us to drive. However, on the few times that I have let my little brother drive my car, it is a pain in the butt because he is about eight inches taller than I am and he does adjust everything differently from the way that I like to keep it.

I don't have a car, but I do have a computer, and I hate when people re-arrange things on it, add new programs, bookmark sites of which I have no interest, etc. For a while we only had my computer becauses something happened to my husband's, and I had to keep telling him to quit bookmarking things in my computer. The shoe was on the other foot eventually when he got a new computer, and mine went off to be fixed. When i needed to save something, rather than bookmarking it on his computer, I e-mailed the link to myself and kept those mails in a folder I created called "future bookmarks" to bookmark on my own computer, when I got it back.

Hi jugs, I will lend my car to the person that close to me only. To avoid any undesirable matter to be happened I usually don't simply let others to drive my car. Moreover it's also the essential transport for me to move to my office. It is quite inconvenient as well, if the car is not returned in time I have to ask someone to send me to the office for sure. It is quite difficult to get public transport like bus or cab to reach the destination in my place If my son was going to attend any in-service course or wedding dinner, etc, he usually would borrow my car. His car was rather old with lower capacity and couldn't serve its purpose well if having long distance journey. For the sake of safety, before starting I would ask him to adjust the wing and screen mirror as well as the seat properly to match his needs. Therefore he could drive safely and smoothly all the way I was glad that he left his car in my place so I didn't come across any inconvenient transport problem. I would readjust all the stuffs again after he had returned the car, for only the driver knew well what angle and position would suit her perfectly. He purchased a 1600 cc in car in the month of July. He is happy with this brand new car now and no longer needs to borrow my car anymore

hi jugsjugs you seem to be your own worst enemy as you let people tramp on you then complain. the answer to not having stuff moved about in your car is to not let anyone else drive it. You ever hear of that little word spelled n o, it is pronounced no. So just smile and say no, sorry I cannot let you do that. simple.

Its not often that anyone drives my car but I really dont like it either. My husband is about a foot taller than me and, tho he usually attempts to put the seat where i left it, its never quite right... and the mirrors are all wrong.... and he puts radio2 on instead of leaving my CD on. Also,I always reverse into the gate so I can just drive straight out and he NEVER reverses in. I hate having to adjust it all and reverse into the road when i'm going off to work.

I used to share my car at home, and as I'm short, every time another person used it, when I would drive again the seat was always too far from the steering wheel. The weird thing is that they never moved my mirrors

I hate it when someone else drives my car too. It means going to the police all over again.
