|  I suppose that with all the strange things that are happening these days I should not have been shocked to hear that a 22-year-old young woman is auctioning off her virginity to the highest bidder, but, yes, I can still be shocked! Tyra is planning to have her on the show next Monday and I plan to watch. I know that we are supposed to value ourselves highly -including purity -but this is ridiculous. I couldn't begin to know the reasons people do some of the things they do, but this seems immoral to me. Do you agree that it sounds cold and calculating?

| |  This sounds silly. Virginity for auction? She should be proud that she's still virgin especially in US. Because you can rarely meet ladies especially teens that are still virgin at the age of 14 or 15. Virginity is truly valuable but if that's what she really wants, well that's her decision.

Such things are not only just silly but also irritating. If some wants to auction her virginity, let her do it. Why does media makes it a news and give a celebrity status.
If she needs publicity let her do it spending her own money. The whole episode is so much framed that it seems to me that her auctioning off virginity isn't important, but important thing is to convert a silly girl into a celebrity.
