I agree with you about Palin but unfortunately for us there are plenty of people who love her and think she's the "future" of the Republican Party.

I don't think she'll EVER go away! I'm with you about hoping for a female President in my lifetime and I also think it will be a Democrat. It's not out of the question that I could ever vote for a Republican woman but it wouldn't be just because of her gender and it would certainly NEVER be Sarah. Uh-oh, I just said something negative about her, how I'm gonna get it...lol!

I think many Democrats are HOPING she does run! I know Keith Olbermann has said he'd like to donate to her to try to make sure she doesn't go away...lol! I have a feeling her PAC will collect more than McCain's does simply because the extreme righties just love her.

I would do the same thing, I find it so scary that she could have been a heartbeat away from being president. I think she will do a good job of taking female votes away from many of the other candidates, but I don't think she has a chance in Hell of beating Obama. I don't know why she doesn't just be happy with being govenor of Alaska, and worry about the rest later. I wonder how the people of Alaska feel about her leaving the state all the time to run around the lower 48 (consider a sin to Alaskians)?

I've also been wondering about what the people of Alaska think. Anybody know what her current approval rating is with Alaskans?

Irish, I am sure it is pretty high, but I also wonder what Bush's approval rating is in Texas. Probably pretty close to each other, the only thing it proves is that people that buy votes are very popular with the people that receive the money. How would you feel about your governor if she gave thousands of dollars last year for doing nothing? I bet you would be very happy with her, the big question will be how much money they get this year, and how far her popularity goes down.

The way she and her supporters complained about how badly she was treated you'd think she'd have had her fill of national campaigns. This time she only had to deal with the media for a couple months. The next time she'll have to put up with it a lot longer!
