Obama gives Queen of England an I-Pod  |

|  To celebrate their first meeting with the Queen of England, Obama and wife give the queen an ipod. Yeah, that's right, an ipod! This is April Fool's Day, but it's no joke, I'm afraid. Oh, and the i-pod was loaded with videos of the queen when she visited the U.S. in 2007. And check out the picture on Drudge-The Queen is standing away from the Obamas. Very odd picture, I thought. And some old songbook signed by Richard Rodgers was also given to her. What made me giggle was the Queen gave them a signed picture of herself in a silver frame-Brits say that's not a 'special' gift, but the regular gift she gives out.

| |  Let's hope the iPod works, unlike the DVDs he gave to Britain's PM Brown! The 0bama's are simply gaffetastic, Mrs. 0bama neglected to curtsy in before the Queen which is the custom there, and 0bama's armored limo was parked blocking the Queen's driveway and she had to request that it be moved!

| |  According the the British commentator on CNN who gave the play by play, the First Lady was not required or expected to curtsy. The only tradition she and Obama were expected to abide by was that you don't touch the queen unless she offers her hand so they both kept their hands at their sides until she offered hers. I do agree with you about Michelle's outfit though...ugh.

The queen gave a silver-framed picture of herself... I guess she isn't too impressed with the Obamas or made her decision based on what Brown got:)
What did Obama give the Browns this time? They had a lengthy visits with the Browns, too.
