What do you mostly spend money on?

I tend to spend alot of money on food every week and it seems that all the shopping do is it keeps going up.The other main bill is the electric that has doubled in less than a year so i have been using a linen line as well as chairs to hang my linen over to get it dry rather than a tumble dryer.The other things i tend to do is buy bulk every now and again as that way it saves money in the long run,even if it is a few pence.

just like you, as i look in our budget, most of our money goes to food as well... coz even if we don't eat that much, we still need to buy these items and yes prices is really higher...
next will be in our utilities, water, electricity, internet... and some in our transportation...

Hello laydee. I think that it is exactly the same with me that most of the money is spent on food as we have to eat every day. Also the food price is not cheap at all. However expensive it is, we still have to pay for it to make our life move on. That is the major of where my money goes. As to the other aspects, I think it is the money I spend on clothes though I don't buy them every month, followed by medicines, gas and electricity fees.

i spend my pocket money mostly on telephone bills.............. or i should say cellphone recharging .............

whatever i earn in a month, I amke sure I keep about 25-30% in the bank and forget i kept money in there..that's my way of making sure my money grows, and is safe, and i never get to touch it.


whatever is left, i make sure i pay the bills including the internet...then i do my gorceries in bulk (i do it once or twice in a month)......

my company pays me every monday so it is a good thing for me coz I get to budget my money really well... I have to say the extra earnings we get from sites like mylot, etc...does help add up...


so it's basically bills and food.......... then i give my son money for school everyday... I pay the babysitter monthly salary to help me watch over my 2 year-old while im busy with work...

then whatever extra i have, i use that to buy the kids what they want... tous for my 2-year old... electronics for my 14-year old...


we dine out abut once or twice a week too... or sometimes i take out coz it saves me time...


i could make ends meet i guess... a lttle while back it seems i could make the most of my money...

I spend most of my money on food and computer accessories. Mostly I would spend my money on buying Ice cream, bread and all those delicious foods. Then I would spend my money sometimes buying blank CDs, headphones, and other computer stuff.

Actually all else except eat more frugal.So I often buy what I want to eat.

My money usually wasted in my phone credit. I can help myself but send messages to my friend. And few weeks ago I donate or give money to my favorite aunt who doesn't have enough money due to typhoon visited my hometown. But that's fine with me because I know I share my blessings to others who are in need.

This is a very good question because my biggest expense is cigarettes. Tongue in cheek, they've been raising tobacco p[rices here in Trinidad nearly five or six times in the past two or three years and its now 17 dollars for a pack of cigs. I don't have a car but spend over 20 dollars a day on road taxis. Food might be a couple hundred a week, if that. My rent is about the cost of two of these items put together. Vitamins and medecine is about half my expenditure on cigs. One US dollar is about 6 Trinidad dollars. Check it out.

well so far i had spent on many things that i feel like it,like things needed and not needed, so far i have satisfied myself with everything,and also budget is one thing i keep in mind,i had once of proble when i finished my all earning into food items,and i did suffer the consequences by my lack of responsibility but these things made, me more of carefull person to spend money on things needed things like food items are needed but dont consume more than what you get and be cautious of what you spend,to buy usefull items..
