Whatever the description others call us, let us not allow it downcast our spirit of mylotting because it's not worth it. Even if others may call us kids, then let it be. There is not much that word can take away from us. At least, we can still be called kids even when we are grown up. That would be a plus factor for us. So, keep your chin up and enjoy being on this wonderful site.

I just reply to whatever I feel like replying to...I don't worry about if I am "worthy" of replying to it...I assume many times I probably ain't...but I reply anyway.

Why do others feel they can 'tag' people?

What is wrong with being a kid anyway? I can't help thinking that whoever said it was maybe a tiny bit resentful of the fact that they have lost their youth?

You are so positive about it though and have turned a negative moment into something positive and got a discussion out of the episode!

Aren't we all kids art heart? Don't we become kids again as we age? Maybe that person that said it is unwilling to admit that they, underneath, would like to be a kid again too?

Hi furi, I loathe it when people use the expression kid. If they use it in a discussion I respond by talking about goats. Naturally in my mind as a kid is a young goat. So the person who called you that is not worth wasting your thoughts on. As for being unworthy of replying total nonsense, you are free to reply wherever you like and your smiling adult face will be welcome. Personally two of my friends on here have asked me not to reply to certain discussions of theirs, as my contribution would be so worthless they might be obliged to negatively rate me. So even though I feel bad about not recriprocating as they hardly start any discussions, I never once felt insulted when they asked me to keep out of their football chats.
So if you're interested enough to open a topic to respond then do it. So go back and respond with your head high and if you come across the goat again then shun him.

I'm sorry you were made to feel "unworthy":( but you're not. Age has nothing at all to do with one's "value," here at myLot or anywhere else. Sure, your answers may be different, in some cases, than someone who has more life experience than you but it doesn't mean that your experiences aren't interesting or useful. A good discussion flourishes with a variety of ideas, thoughts and opinions. If we all answered from exactly the same standpoint, it wouldn't be much fun and we wouldn't learn much either. If you want to participate somewhere, do so! Give the best answers you feel you can and ENJOY what you do. You are as entitled to share your opinion as anyone else

Try not to let it get you down. You have a good life a head of you. It is good that you have spoken up about this because it shows that you have support here by people.

You know who you are that is the most important. It is sad that people have to tag others to bring them down.

I am approaching my 40's and some one tagged me as immature and other nasty things that put me into depression for a year. I am still trying to over come my depression. It was by some one who I though would have known me better than that because they had known me for 4 and half years. Well I have news for them. It shows that they don't know me well enough. I am a better person. I don't need them bringing me down. This is helping me to rise above the depression without any medical assistance but I still have a long way to go. I am positive that I will get there.

I am positive that you too can rise over current feelings. You have support so draw on that support to give you strength to carry on. Life is full of learning experiences. Even for me at my age, I am still learning. I am also still eager to learn as much as I possibly can about life.

Unless it is a very immature person posting something (sometimes you can tell if it is like a relationship thing or something like that, you know?) you really can't tell peoples ages on here anyway, and you certainly have as much right to post your opinion about anything as anyone else.

This person, it seems needs to get over their own childish behavior of making someone else feel bad about being here.

Whatever, if you are called as a kid I'm are still a kid even my age is referred to as adult. Just don't think of unworthy, anyway keep your hope we also need to talk and learn.
