New Appliances  

As far as I know the only thing we can get like that in England is Ex catalogue returns and then you have to but like a box of things and you have no idea what is in it! Its not really worth doing unless you can sell it on ebay, you need time, patience and energy though!

hi Grandpa Bob that was a really great deal. we had to leave our fridge behind when we were evicted as it quit too.so if and when my son gets a job again and we get into an apartment we will have to look into a sears outlet store too. this sounds like a really good deal and a little flaw in the finish some place will not hurt the working parts of it. Just wish my son would hurry and get that job.

Hi GrandpaBob. I have the same fridge, I bought it 2 years ago. We don't have a Sears outlet store here, but if we did I would definitely would have purchased it there. Like another of the responders said it is quite noisy but it serves it purpose. I am satisfied with it. When I purchased it, I charged it on my Sears card and had so many months to pay it off before the interest started. I paid it off in time Thank God because a couple of months later I was unemployed.

I wish we had a Sears outlet near here. When I come to Minnesota again we will have to bring our truck. I have some woodworking tools I am giving the kids. I did buy my current stove as a return, from Sears. Someone had bought it, then decided they did not like the features on it, and returned it. We also had great savings from that little purchase.

well as you know my mother just bought me a brand new stove, so I am good. I don't forsee any big appliances breaking down, but who knows with my luck. I need a new bulb for my tv it stopped working yesterday. I just have to wait until I have the money.

Hello there, I am not from the country where you live but it is nice to see discount stores like that. I would be happy too if i can purchase something as low as that. I know sooner or later my fridge will die on me soon. For last september our city was flooded and almost all of the appliances got wet. Still lucky to see after we let the fridge dry for 3 weeks is still working. But I would like to buy something with 3% off the regular price.

I didn't know Sears had an Outlet store - I've seen Kenmore at a scratch & dent place here in town, but its not a Sears store (can't use credit card there.)

Funny you should mention getting a new fridge... I spent the afternoon helping a friend empty out hers because she's getting a new(er) one tomorrow. She got it online on Kijiji.

OK This is the SIXTH Time I try to send this response. I nearly get finished then loose it. Grrrr No wonder response are getting scarce!!!
Anyway as I was saying I have always bought my appliances from Sears and have always been very happy. I especially miss my self cleaning/convection oven stove. It had to go with the house when we sold the house. The last appliance I bought was when I moved here, we're allowed a dryer as long as it's a 110 volt and we can have full size washers. I bought a 110 apartment dryer, very pleased with that little dryer and I bought a full size washer (front loading) and again I am very pleased. The stove, dishwasher and fridge that is in the apartment are not Sears and I sure can tell you it's all junk. They buy cheap appliances and that's what they are. My number one choice will always be Sears, but living here you get what you get. I had to copy and paste but wa la here's my response. Long winded like me. hahahaha

We don't really have outlet stores like that around here......wish we did but we do have a small town close that has very good prices on all major appliances...the last thing I bought was a refridge for my son..proir to that I bought a washer and dryer there...so far so good and that was about ten years ago.
