Mission House found vouchers for Hope's Closet that they did not realize they had, and sent me one. Because they knew i was still in need of some stuff.
It was only for...

I had planned on doing a tuna mousse for starters. But on reading the recipe, I needed 2 cans of tuna (or a big one). I did not find that at home.
So that was it.
And I thought then: what if...
I will have a roasted chicken with...

I finished unpacking with the aid of Leticia and found Vicente´s present. I hope he will like it. It is a Guarani flute that is used to resemble bird´s chirps and they use it to call them.
I´m about to fill the washing machine...

I love color! I am glad to see color is "in", but that wouldn't affect my decorating choices. You're looking at a picture of my new living room rug. You may remember (and kudos if you do) my apartment complex (finally) put new...

Because @yukimori asked!
Leah makes little rugs. They are done in squares using a loom and then sewed together. The yarns used are a combination of both synthetic and natural of all different sizes and colors which gives them a...

Years ago when re-cycling was done as a matter of course, in times more...

Mum is here now and is currently smoking her head off, poisoning the air. However, she is sat beside me looking at this computer screen and having a blast, as she wonders at all things "interweb" lol.
Anyway, we've been looking...

I know it sounds like a silly question. But I have been living with different people over the last couple of years. I always had at least a throw rug in the bathroom as I do not like to step out of the shower onto a cold floor. I...

I have often noticed that my kitchen stays cooler then the rest of the house, unless I am cooking in there. Does the hard floor create cooler temperatures? Would a rug keep the room warmer or would it just feel warmer? Would it...
