Or there's something wrong with my laptop: NO SOUND! On any site. Can't hear my radio station. Can't hear any of the voiceovers on facebook. Nothin's playing. I've checked my settings and can't see anything that says 'sound off'....

Marie Coyle @BarBaraPrz On many computers, the task bar runs along the bottom of the screen. There are icons there for start-up, re-start, whatever browsers you are using, and also the current date and time, volume, battery charge level, internet connection, etc.
