Heather Echola I am his favorite. He hates to eat alone.Lately he has not even wanted his favorite foods, but I am sure it was the UTI making him sick. I think it has been going on for a long time.

Heather Echola He is doing better. I got him some store brand of Ensure and told him he has to drink at least one of those daily "doctor's orders". I made us nice salads for lunch and he really enjoyed it.

Heather Echola He likes to have me around when he eats, but he honestly has not felt well since Thanksgiving. I think we are on the mend now.

Heather Echola He is ill, and so had not wanted to eat. He is doing better with me pushing him to eat and getting up and moving around more.

Heather Echola Being so week scares him. We are treating his illness, and I just ordered a new hearing aid, and he is eating better and staying out of bed more. He was up for six hours straight this morning.

Heather Echola I can occasionally get him to drink a protein drink. I bought some Kroger brand Ensure type drinks--less protein, more nutrition, and twice the calories. Sometimes he does not like those. He is doing better now and getting some cravings.

Heather Echola ER doctor thought it was his heart not pumping hard enough. I think no eating has a lot to do with it, plus he has a UTI. Not eating and sleeping 18 or more hours daily will make you weak.
