jal1948 There is no harm in giving pocket money. The amount given is as per your capacity to give and the childs requirements.you can ask him to earn it by doing small errands and there by make him feel important,at the same time monitor what he does with the money ....

jal1948 giving a child depends on the childrens genuine needs and your capacity to fulfill those needs without hurting yourself or the child. Supervise their spending and see that it is for a just and genuine cause/purpose.
