NJ Chicaa @NJChicaa (128378) • United States 4 Sep 25

I'm sure you are all sick of reading about it (if you read my posts) so hopefully this will be the last one for awhile. (no promises though!) My dad had a horrible accident in the ocean 2 years ago yesterday. After being...

Many churches have been locking their doors during services.

Marie Coyle @MarieCoyle (64877) 28 Aug 25

And no, not just since yesterday's Minneapolis shooting. I didn't realize it was even going on, but evidently in many churches now, it is. As I have said before, I lived for a time in a small town in southern IL. My best friend...

Four Walls I don’t think anything is going to keep people who want to go to church from going to church. And yes, there are security measures that one minister I watch online said you can’t begin to imagine in place. Sign of the times…but then you go back to the...

MerryBelle @merrybelle2021 (1391) • Philippines 12 Nov 23

I didn't even know what that meant. But apparently, in the US, Walmart wanted "to create a less stimulating environment for those with sensory disabilities." This means they "changed the TV walls to a static image, turned off...

I am a decent English speaker, as it is my first language. I was close to fluent in Italian (for a 4-year-old) when we lived in Italy for a year. But I have forgotten most of the Italian I learned. I speak a tiny bit of Spanish,...

Fiacre Banks @thehorse I was kicked out of German class by a German witch after 6 weeks. French is no problem and I can survive in Italian and Spanish. My second language is ciTumbuku (northern Malawi) and I get by in Irish.
